Google-sprint-02

Duration   4—5 weeks, SEP 2019

Project Type   UI/UX Design, Sprint

Google Creative Lab Sprint is a project where we were randomly assigned to a Google product, technology, and specific audience

Google Calendar  +  Machine Learning  +  Small Business Owners

I was assigned to Google Calendar, and was supposed to incorporate machine learning technology into the product. The product is intended to be designed specifically for small business owners.

Using my past experience interning at a small, local company I remembered the hurdles that my employer encountered.

Problem 1

It was often difficult to come up with ideas for events if the business owner is unaware of the demographics in the area

Rectangle-1

Solution 1

Use machine learning to collect data, visualize the data to help users understand a large amount of data easier and better. By doing so, the user can host events that would suit the demographic. Therefore increasing the attendance rate and popularity of the business within the area.

Problem 2

Frustrating to compare data from past events

Rectangle-3

Solution 2

Making a "Compare Events" function so that users can easily compare past events. In the function, users can easily see reviews from guests and other data to improve their next event
